About Me

Hi there! My name is Natalie, owner of High Tails Pet Grooming. I have been grooming since 2015 and until recently, have always worked in salon environments. It hurt my heart seeing the dogs come in so nervous no matter how many reassurances or snuggles I gave them, and it hurt even more knowing I just didn’t have the time to spend with each pet making sure they were as comfortable and calm as possible. That was, until I started grooming dogs from my home. I started with one of my notoriously anxious clients, a standard poodle named Tiffany. Every time she would come to see me at the salon, she would drool, shake, and not want to leave her dad’s side. Now, she’s calm, confident, and comfortable. No more drooling or shaking! She runs up the stairs and around my home, picking up different toys to play with eventually settling on the couch.

I began offering my at-home grooming services to more of my anxious pups. The difference in their behavior from a salon environment to a home environment is night and day. Pet safety and comfortability is my top priority, and I believe I can achieve that with every pet in my home.
